Parent Socioeconomic Status and Child Malnutrition in Nasarawa State, Nigeria

The study analyzed the relationship between parent socioeconomic status and child malnutrition in Nasarawa State, Nigeria, with a particular emphasis on pathway through which factors of parents determine nutrition wellbeing. To achieve this objective, was conducted Lafia metropolis random sample 480 women who had children ages 0 to 5. Data collected by administering structured questionnaire area. Descriptive statistics, chi-square, mediation analysis were employed analyze data. findings from results unveiled that primary determinant State is mother’s educational status. Furthermore, showed perfect Education, toilet facility, malnutrition. recommended government should encourage sensitization importance girl education at all levels, especially among rural dwellers. Having quality will improve her an increase Education rise income level better role as future mother.
